John offers start to finish production services from demos to the live stage. No matter the point in your career, please reach out to discuss your current project if you are in need of any of the following services.

PRE-PRODUCTION: Before entering the studio, this time is used to demo songs and work with the artist on the composition of their songs and on finer details like vocal melody, lyrics, rhythm, and the interplay of each instrument. This time can also be used to experiment with different ideas with the end goal of having a solid blueprint for a song before moving on to the recording stage.

PRODUCTION: Once the demos are done and ready to be recorded, ensuring the session is well planned and organized is first and foremost. Then, coaching each musician's performance to get the very best out of them and their abilities is a priority. Making sure the tones are right with good gear and proper mic selection, so that the sound and the performance are captured as well as possible.

POST-PRODUCTION: Once all the tracking is done, then on to mixing. The mixing process should be fairly smooth and reflect the sonic impact the artist is trying to achieve, and if the arrangement is great, and the recording is great, then the mix should be the next link in the chain to ensuring a song has reached it's full potential before it heads off to mastering.

LIVE PRODUCTION: The recordings are done, but the next question is how to translate the album from the studio to the stage? Through the use of technology, performance coaching, and creating a well planned live show, a great concert can fuel album sales and streaming, and ultimately help fulfill the artist's goal of reaching as many listeners as possible.
